From Mountain to Molehill
If you’ve been by the Eagan Condo Garages property this summer, you may have spotted Mt. EGC—the giant hill that stood next to where E and F buildings will be. We’re excited to share that we’ve removed 27,000 tons of dirt from Mt. EGC and transformed it into a small knoll that families will be able to enjoy once we’ve planted the trees and grass.
Pouring Footings and Installing Utilities
With the mountain tamed, real work can begin on the site. Our crew is grading the sites for E and F buildings, and the buildings’ footings will be poured in the next month. At the same time, we are working on adding infrastructure for the utilities for E and F buildings, including gas, electric, water, and internet.
Steel Will Go Up in November
Once the footings and utilities are in place, we’ll get to see some real progress. The steel for E and F buildings is scheduled to go up in late fall. Once the walls and roof are in place, our crew can work through the winter to install the garage doors, in-floor heating, lighting, interior outlets, and drywall in each unit.
By springtime, each unit will be nearly ready for owners to work their design magic and make their unit their own. In March, we’ll be preparing to have the driveway finished, and by May, we hope to have E building ready for owners. If all goes to plan, F building will follow at the end of June.
